Fund for Empowerment

Fund for Empowerment is a Phoenix-based social justice organization founded in 2018. Its mission is to build community resources for oppressed and marginalized people through direct services, capacity-building training, and project support.

The organization’s Houseless Leadership Project works with people who have experienced houselessness and their allies on civil rights advocacy. The project trains present and former street campers to speak on their own behalf to government decision-makers. Fund for Empowerment also develops speakers, holds workshops and trainings, and supports related community projects.
