Housing Initiative-Princeton

Located in Princeton, Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP) assists local individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity as they work toward stable housing, better employment, and a sustainable future. Its approach combines housing support with a network of community services.

HIP describes services including transitional housing in safe, furnished, affordable units; individualized wraparound support; rental assistance for Mercer County residents; eviction-prevention assistance; and security-deposit assistance for people moving into Mercer County rental homes. Support may also address employment, education, finances, mental health, and other community needs.
