Description

Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2011 by American veterans of the Global War on Terror. Its mission focuses on assisting victims of war and humanitarian crises through direct aid, essential services, and volunteer-led programs.

Through its Project 360 program, VRL describes mentorship, family mediation, support with education and employment goals, accredited training opportunities, and complementary integrative health therapies for veterans experiencing treatment-resistant PTSD symptoms. Participants may also take part in humanitarian missions supporting children or fellow veterans injured by war. Learn more through the official veteran services information.

VRL also reports humanitarian work that includes emergency medical care for children injured in conflict, emergency food distribution, and emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED training for members of the veteran community. People seeking broader housing-related resources can review NHREA’s New York homeless assistance guide and federal assistance resources.
