Ready, Willing & Able, a program of The Doe Fund, combines paid transitional work training, transitional housing, and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness. Participants build workplace skills such as accountability, communication, teamwork, and time management while preparing for employment and housing stability.
Services may include personalized case management, job and housing placement assistance, addiction recovery support, adult basic education, high school equivalency preparation, computer essentials, financial literacy, and legal referrals. Occupational training opportunities include fields such as CDL, construction, culinary arts, HVAC, and security.
The program also offers continued support after graduation for participants who obtain employment and housing.
