Antelope Valley Partners for Health

Antelope Valley Partners for Health (AVPH) is a Lancaster-based nonprofit working to strengthen health and quality of life across the Antelope Valley through services, partnerships, and community advocacy. Its work has addressed access to health care, mental health support in schools, nutrition and physical activity, women’s health education, transportation, housing concerns, and support for children, families, and older adults.

AVPH also provides food assistance resources and describes its pantry as a client-choice community market, with healthy options and an emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables. The organization’s programs include maternal and paternal home visitation, individual and family support, and community capacity building. AVPH also participates in community efforts such as the Antelope Valley Violence Prevention Coalition and promotes early childhood literacy through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
