Description

Las Milpitas Community Farm is a six-acre community farm on the banks of the Santa Cruz River in Tucson and part of the Community Food Bank’s Farm and Garden program. It provides materials, education, support, and free community garden space for residents to grow food for themselves and their families, helping make healthy, homegrown food more accessible to low-income families.

The farm also serves as a community-building space where neighbors can gather, connect, learn, and share. Workshops, work days, and partnerships with local schools support desert food cultivation and help develop leaders working toward a resilient, sustainable local food system in Tucson.

For related assistance resources in Arizona, visit NHREA’s Arizona assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the official Las Milpitas Community Farm page to confirm current program details and ways to participate.
