Southeast Texas Food Bank, located at 3845 South Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Beaumont, helps address hunger across Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, and Tyler counties. It works with nonprofit agencies and schools to connect individuals and families with food assistance.
Programs include the USDA’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which helps make food available through food banks, pantries, and other local organizations. The Mobile Pantry brings food into communities where access to grocery stores or traditional pantries may be limited, including rural areas, through pre-packed boxes or client-choice distributions.
The food bank also operates a USDA-sponsored Commodity Supplemental Food Program for qualifying adults age 60 and older, providing monthly boxes at no cost. People seeking help can visit the official Southeast Texas Food Bank website for program information and local assistance guidance. Additional support may be available through Texas homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.
