West Valley Community Services

West Valley Community Services (WVCS), based in Cupertino, is a nonprofit serving people facing hunger, housing instability, and poverty in communities across Santa Clara County’s West Valley. Its work combines food assistance, housing support, and practical services to help individuals and families move toward greater stability.

Through its Food Market and Park-It Market, WVCS provides groceries such as produce, proteins, canned goods, and prepared foods, along with case management and referrals for clients who face transportation barriers. Support services also include emergency help with rent and utilities, transportation and clothing assistance, hygiene supplies, shelter referrals, employment resources, workshops, resource fairs, and free income-tax preparation for low-income households.

WVCS owns and operates Vista Village and Greenwood Court, permanent apartment communities managed through Cupertino’s Below Market Rate Housing Program.
