Description

Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis is a partnership of congregations and community organizations working to address homelessness among children and families in Greater Indianapolis. Its mission centers on keeping families together and helping them move from crisis toward lasting housing stability.

Through its Apartment Shelter Program, the organization provides temporary shelter in furnished apartments rather than a traditional congregate setting. Families work with case managers on referrals and a path toward permanent housing. Support may include assistance with food, transportation, childcare, and school enrollment, along with AfterCare to help families build stability after leaving shelter.

People seeking assistance should visit the official Family Promise website for current program information and contact guidance. Additional resources are available through NHREA’s Indiana homeless assistance guide and federal assistance resources.
