Miami Rescue Mission Center for Women and Children

The Miami Rescue Mission Center for Women and Children is part of The Caring Place, a South Florida organization serving people experiencing homelessness since 1922. Its mission combines practical support with Christian compassion, including food, shelter, residential services, education, healthcare, employment assistance, and housing support.

The Caring Place’s AWARENESS Program supports women and children facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, abuse, financial hardship, or limited support networks. The program is designed to help participants stabilize their housing, income, education, employment, and path toward independent living. Related programs may include case management, counseling, behavioral health and substance-use services, career support, computer literacy, and life-skills education.
