At Homeless Solutions, our philosophy is simple yet powerful: A Hand Up, not a HandOUT.” Since 1983, this private, nonprofit organization has been serving the homeless and at-risk members of our community with compassion, dignity, and long-term solutions. Unlike organizations that only provide temporary relief, we are committed to offering the tools, resources, and supportive environment individuals and families need to rebuild their lives and achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
What sets Homeless Solutions apart is our unique Continuum of Housing options, designed to meet people where they are on their journey to stability. Our services include the Main Shelter, Transitional Housing Program (THP) for families, Mt. Kemble Home for senior women, Warming Center for individuals experiencing street homelessness during the winter, the Women’s Campus for single women in shared housing, and 74 affordable rental housing units that we own and operate.
Backed by a remarkable team of more than 50 dedicated staff members—both full-time and part-time—and governed by a compassionate Board of Trustees, Homeless Solutions continues to make a measurable impact.
