Since 1966, the North Central West Virginia Community Action Association (NCWVCAA) has been a dedicated advocate and resource for low-income families across multiple counties in West Virginia. Formed by the merger of six county agencies—Monongalia, Marion, Preston, Taylor, Barbour, and Tucker—and later expanding to Randolph, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, and Webster counties for Head Start services, NCWVCAA operates offices in each county to provide accessible programs and support. Through committed staff and volunteers, the organization empowers residents to achieve self-sufficiency, offering opportunities for education, workforce development, and community engagement. Guided by a diverse Board of Directors and the Head Start Policy Council, NCWVCAA continues to provide progressive services that strengthen communities and improve quality of life throughout the region.”
