Description

Founded in 1977 by Jonathan L. Jones, Friends Helping Friends (FHF) was born from a vision to create a path of hope for people facing homelessness and addiction in Los Angeles. After overcoming his own personal struggle, Jonathan was determined to help others get sober, regain their independence, and transition into stable housing.

For over 20 years, FHF has provided a safe, home-like environment for individuals in need of shelter and sober living support. Our program assists clients in obtaining vital benefits, such as medical care, counseling, food, and resources that help them successfully transition into independent living.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to offer compassionate support and connect individuals to mainstream services that would otherwise be difficult to access without stable housing. Through our holistic approach, we provide transitional housing, recovery-focused programs, and tools to promote long-term success.mission is to offer compassionate support and connect individuals to mainstream services that would otherwise be difficult to access without stable housing.
