Operation Breakthrough
Description
Since 1971, Operation Breakthrough has been committed to providing a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty while empowering their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education. Founded by Sister Corita Bussanmas and Sister Berta Sailer, this not-for-profit organization began with the vision of giving every child—regardless of circumstance—the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Today, Operation Breakthrough has grown into a vital resource for working families, offering quality childcare, early education programs, health services, and family support initiatives. By addressing the needs of both children and their parents, we break the cycle of poverty and create pathways toward stability and success.
