Business Consumer Alliance, Inc. (BCA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1928, formerly known as the Better Business Bureau of the Southland. In 2013, we rebranded to better reflect our expanded mission and service area, now spanning North America. BCA promotes business self-regulation by assisting consumers in resolving complaints and providing reliable information on business reputations.

Utilizing a sophisticated algorithm, BCA evaluates various business factors to assign letter grades ranging from AAA to F. This grading system helps consumers identify trustworthy companies and avoid disreputable ones. Funded by member businesses committed to ethical practices, BCA works collaboratively with government agencies and the media to expose fraud and illegal schemes, helping legitimate businesses protect their profits. BCA’s headquarters is located in Colton, California.
