The Coalition of Tracy Citizens to Assist the Homeless
Description
The Coalition — Supporting Homeless Men in Tracy, CA
The Coalition is a small nonprofit organization based in Tracy, California, dedicated to helping men experiencing low income or homelessness by providing them with a safe and stable place to live. At our homes, we offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support to promote stability and well-being. Our mission is to empower these men to rebuild their lives and become fully functioning, contributing citizens of Tracy.
Founded in 2009 by Marvin Rothschild, who began by providing hot showers to Tracy’s homeless population, The Coalition has since expanded its critical services. Emerson House, launched in July 2012, serves as a transitional home for homeless men, while Rochester House, established in November 2015, provides supportive living for formerly homeless, disabled men. Today, these two homes offer over 30 beds, helping men in the community regain their independence and stability.
