El Pasoans Fighting Hunger is the only food bank serving El Paso, Hudspeth, and Culberson counties in West Texas.Their mission is to combat the hunger crisis in the region by strategically procuring and distributing nutritious food through a network of over 100 partner agencies, ensuring that no one in their community goes hungry. As a partner of Feeding America and the Texas Food Bank Network, they not only distribute food to pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens but also run mobile pantries to reach underserved areas and offer programs like home delivery for the homebound and assistance with SNAP applications. In 2023, they distributed an impressive 106 million pounds of food, highlighting their crucial role in addressing food insecurity in the El Paso region.
