A Community of Friends
Description
leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness through the development and management of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for individuals living with mental illness. Founded in 1988 in response to the homelessness crisis following deinstitutionalization, ACOF has been at the forefront of providing housing solutions paired with wraparound support services.
Our mission is to create thriving, inclusive communities where individuals can find stability, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose. Through strategic partnerships and decades of expertise, we ensure that residents not only secure housing but also gain access to mental health care, case management, and supportive resources.
