Description

California Health Care Foundation helps Californians with low incomes get the health care they need. Its work addresses health care affordability, coverage, language access, technology, and policy, with a focus on making the health system more accessible and effective.

CHCF also examines the connection between homelessness and health. Its work includes medical respite, street medicine, and CalAIM initiatives that help connect people experiencing homelessness with housing-related supports and health care. Explore the foundation’s homelessness and health resources, along with NHREA’s homeless assistance resources in California and federal assistance resources.

Through its Health Care Leadership Program, CHCF supports a two-year, part-time fellowship that develops leadership skills among clinically trained health care professionals. Visit the official CHCF website to learn more about its research, programs, and current resources.
