Located at 10911 Reagan St in Los Alamitos, Casa Youth Shelter provides emergency temporary shelter for youth ages 12–17 who may be experiencing family disruption, abuse, abandonment, street homelessness, or risk of homelessness. Its short-term residential program combines a safe place to stay with meals, snacks, hot showers, clean clothing, fresh linens, and counseling services.
Care is designed to help young people move toward safety, stability, and family connection. Residents take part in a structured home environment that may include daily goal setting, tutoring, reading, creative activities, recreation, life-skills support, and time with counselors. Staff and volunteers use trauma-informed care, and the organization’s stated goal is to help residents reunite with their families and build stronger relationships.
