Description

Coachella Valley Rescue Mission provides emergency shelter, nourishing meals, compassionate medical care, recovery support, and outreach for people experiencing homelessness or crisis in the Coachella Valley. Its services address immediate needs while helping individuals and families move toward safety, stability, and a more secure future.

The mission’s Women and Children’s Shelter offers refuge, food, and basic-needs support for women and children facing homelessness, poverty, or violence at home. Its Gateway Vocational and New Life programs provide structured classes, job-readiness and life-skills training, recovery groups, mentorship, and support for long-term change.

Through its Rapid Rehousing program, the organization provides housing intervention and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness, with a focus on reducing time spent without housing and supporting permanent housing stability. For related resources, visit NHREA’s California homeless assistance guide and federal assistance resources. Visit the official CVRM website to confirm current program details.
