Coalition on Homelessness & Housing in Ohio (COHHIO) is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals working to end homelessness and promote decent, safe, fair, affordable housing, with a focus on low-income and special-needs populations. Learn more through the official COHHIO website.
COHHIO provides training, education, advocacy, and technical assistance for housing and homeless-service providers. Its Youth Housing Initiative uses youth perspectives and lived expertise to strengthen programs, support housing stability, and help communities prevent and end youth homelessness.
The organization also operates a free Housing Information Line that helps tenants, landlords, and service providers find information about housing-related challenges, including maintenance concerns, discrimination, fair housing, and landlord-tenant questions. COHHIO notes that this service does not provide legal representation, housing referrals, rental assistance, or other financial aid.
