Coalition on Homelessness is a San Francisco advocacy organization located at 280 Turk St. It organizes people experiencing homelessness and frontline service providers around permanent solutions to homelessness while working to protect the human rights of people living without stable housing.
Its Housing Justice Workgroup advocates for decent, habitable, safe, and secure housing. The group also works to prevent displacement, expand housing opportunities for homeless families, and challenge policies that can lead to citations, arrests, or confiscation of personal property. Coalition on Homelessness welcomes community participation in housing justice efforts.
The organization’s official resource library includes educational materials such as a Know Your Rights pamphlet, a homelessness services guide, and information for housed allies.
