Community Homeless Solutions stands as one of Monterey County’s largest and most trusted providers of homeless transitional housing and emergency shelter services, including dedicated shelter programs for women and children fleeing domestic violence. With over 40 years of committed service, our organization has profoundly impacted the community by creating meaningful opportunities that help individuals and families move forward from crisis to stability.

Our agency passionately serves men, women, and children experiencing homelessness or escaping domestic violence through a range of comprehensive programs tailored to meet diverse needs. Every night, over 200 individuals find safe shelter within one of our seven supportive programs. Our services go beyond housing; we provide vital case management, counseling, referrals, mentoring, career guidance, and enrichment activities—all delivered with empathy, motivation, and respect.

Among our domestic violence shelter guests, over 90% successfully increase their income and transition into safe, stable, and permanent housing. For those in emergency shelters, between 25% and 65% move into secure housing, reflecting the effectiveness of our holistic approach.
