Description

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) is a faith-based nonprofit that has served Detroit’s homeless and addicted communities since 1909. Its programs support recovery and stability through housing, treatment, and related services.

DRMM offers shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and recovery housing with services such as case management, employment assistance, mental-health coordination, substance-use aftercare, and follow-up support. Treatment programs include withdrawal management, outpatient and intensive outpatient care, peer and recovery support, counseling, job training, legal and medical services, and relapse-prevention support. Overnight shelter residents may also receive meals and access to showers and clothing. Learn more about DRMM housing services.

Additional community programs include housing prioritized for veterans, outpatient psychiatry, prisoner reentry support, and youth and prevention initiatives.
