Description

Door of Hope Home, a Salvation Army program in San Diego, helps women and families experiencing homelessness move from temporary housing toward permanent homes. Its Haven Interim Housing program provides short-term housing in a safe, structured setting while residents work with staff on individualized plans addressing housing, employment, education, financial management, and medical needs.

Through its Rapid Rehousing program, Door of Hope supports the search for rental housing with housing specialists, rental assistance, and ongoing case management. Staff may help address barriers such as credit issues, evictions, or unpaid rent and serve as a liaison between tenants and landlords.

Visit the official Door of Hope website for program information and current details. Additional homeless assistance in California and federal assistance resources are also available.
