Family Promise of Bergen County

Family Promise of Bergen County works to prevent homelessness among working families by promoting housing and food security. Its services include case management and holistic support, financial education and job training, and daily meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

The Housing Stabilization Program provides case-by-case rental assistance and homelessness-prevention support for eligible families who have fallen behind on rent and face eviction. Through its housing and support programs, Family Promise connects families with guidance intended to help them maintain housing.

The New Leaf Program provides apartment-based support while families continue working on individual goals related to employment, education, and financial literacy.
