Description

Family Promise of Colorado Springs helps families with children prevent and overcome housing instability through prevention assistance, emergency shelter, and stabilization services. Its support is designed to help families before, during, and after a housing crisis while keeping parents and children together.

Prevention services can include emergency rent and utility payments, security and utility deposits, landlord mediation, crisis hotel or motel stays, and connections to local resources. When housing is lost, the organization provides shelter with private rooms and shared spaces, along with case management and housing navigation. Stabilization support includes financial literacy, budgeting coaching, job readiness, employment navigation, parenting support, resource referrals, and access to the Families First Mental Health Voucher Program.

Serving Colorado Springs since 1997, Family Promise focuses on helping families regain stability and move toward independence.
