Description

Father Joe’s Villages is a San Diego nonprofit focused on preventing and ending homelessness through housing, shelter, meals, health care, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and employment and education services. Its programs support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including individuals and families.

Through its housing work, Father Joe’s Villages combines affordable housing with supportive services intended to help people move from homelessness toward lasting housing stability. The Village Health Center provides primary care, dental care, behavioral health, psychiatry, and addiction treatment, and serves patients regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. Its Detox Program offers withdrawal-management support as an early step toward recovery and helps participants plan for continued care.
