Description

Bring identification when collecting groceries from Food Pantry LAX in Inglewood, California. This volunteer-run pantry offers free food once a week, with no income requirement. Each visit is intended to provide enough groceries for two days or more, and larger families receive extra food.

The pantry adapts groceries to whether customers have cooking appliances and refrigeration. People staying in temporary accommodation or without a kitchen can ask for foods that do not need cooking or cold storage. Tell volunteers what you can safely store and prepare so they can help with the appropriate option.

Ask the pantry which forms of identification it accepts and whether your home location falls within its service area. Grocery pickup takes place at the Inglewood facility, not the separate Westchester mailing address. Baby food or formula, diapers and personal hygiene supplies may also be requested.

Weekly pantry visits can supplement other food support. NHREA’s federal assistance resources explain additional benefit programs, each with its own eligibility and application process.
