Friends of the Phoenix Public Library

Friends of the Phoenix Public Library supports Phoenix public libraries by promoting, enhancing, and expanding library services for the community. The organization raises funds to supplement library programs and services and advocates for adequate resources beyond basic public funding.

Membership gifts and donations have supported literacy activities, family programs, cultural celebrations, educational workshops, and creative programming for children, teens, and adults. Friends also partners with Bookmans Entertainment Exchange on Storyfest, a literacy festival at Burton Barr Central Library featuring a book giveaway, themed literacy activities, a prize drawing, and community partners.

Visit the official Friends of the Phoenix Public Library website for organizational and program information. For broader help, see NHREA’s Arizona assistance resources and federal assistance resources, and confirm details with the relevant source.
