Gateway Center

Gateway Center is a homeless service center in downtown Atlanta that connects people experiencing homelessness with support on the path toward housing stability and self-sufficiency. Its coordinated entry services provide a single point of access to housing resources for the City of Atlanta and Fulton County, while outreach and navigation teams connect people with shelter, healthcare, and other critical supports.

Programs address housing placement, employment, health, and personal stability. Services include housing and employment case management, low-barrier shelter, behavioral health counseling, addiction recovery, a Mercy Care health clinic, and veteran-focused housing programs supported in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Connected Learning Center offers job-readiness, resume-building, employment placement, and financial-literacy support, while adult education partnerships provide GED preparation and literacy assistance.

Gateway Center also provides supportive public services and diversion assistance designed to help individuals and families resolve housing crises and avoid or exit homelessness.
