Habitat For Humanity- Home Office

Habitat for Humanity—Home Office in Fort Collins is a nonprofit housing ministry that brings people together to build safe, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity works to improve housing conditions through home construction, rehabilitation, preservation, housing advocacy, and access to training and resources.

Its homeownership program helps families build and buy their own homes. Habitat sells homes at cost and provides zero-interest mortgages, with monthly payments designed not to exceed 30% of a homeowner’s gross income. Homeowners also participate in building their homes and contributing to the broader Habitat effort.

Volunteers and community donors help make this work possible, including through support for the Habitat ReStore, which accepts donated building materials and household items. Learn more about the organization through the official Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity website. Additional housing resources are available through NHREA’s Colorado assistance guide and federal assistance resources.
