Description

HomeAgain is a Richmond nonprofit that has helped individuals and families experiencing homelessness secure and maintain a home since 1979. Serving the Greater Richmond region, the organization develops housing plans tailored to each person’s circumstances, with housing as its first priority.

HomeAgain’s programs include emergency shelters, bridge housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. Support may include individualized case management, housing search assistance, short-term rental assistance, healthy meals, laundry facilities, learning and play spaces for children, workforce development, and other services that help people move toward stable housing.

In 2024, HomeAgain served 1,046 individuals across its programs, including men, women, children, and veterans, and reported that 79% transitioned from homelessness to permanent, stable housing.
