Description

HomeAid Sacramento collaborates with building-industry members, community partners, nonprofit organizations, and public institutions to build and renovate safe, dignified housing and programmatic facilities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Its work combines construction expertise with donated labor and materials, community engagement, education, and awareness. Since 1996, HomeAid Sacramento reports completing more than 100 housing renovation and construction projects, including a family home connected with St. John’s Program for Real Change.

HomeAid Sacramento does not directly place people into housing. People seeking assistance can use the organization’s official resource guidance, including county assessment and 2-1-1 referrals. Additional information about homeless assistance in California and federal assistance programs may also be helpful. Visit the official website to confirm current program details.
