Description

Founded in 1989, the Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP) is a nationally recognized family resource center based in San Francisco, committed to empowering homeless and low-income families. HPP especially supports mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, offering resources that help them build strength, confidence, and resilience to overcome adversity and transform their lives. Through comprehensive support services, HPP addresses the unique challenges faced by families living without stable housing, focusing on nurturing healthier outcomes for both parents and children.

HPP engages the community by hosting volunteer opportunities such as sorting donations, supporting events, and assisting with outreach. Although volunteer openings are limited, the program welcomes passionate individuals interested in joining a volunteer pool for future opportunities. By fostering collaboration and community involvement, HPP continues to expand its reach, ensuring that vulnerable families in San Francisco receive the compassionate care and practical assistance needed to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
