JoCo IHN: Helping Homeless Families Help Themselves Through Faith and Community
Founded in 2003 by a committed group of congregational leaders and concerned citizens, JoCo IHN (formerly Johnson County Interfaith Hospitality Network) is dedicated to empowering homeless families and single women by engaging a strong network of faith-based communities.
Today, JoCo IHN partners with nearly 30 local congregations to provide compassionate support to families experiencing situational homelessness and unaccompanied single women. Through temporary shelter, meals, and structured case management, guests are guided toward long-term stability.
Guests in the program are required to save 100% of their disposable income (after necessary bills), maintain or secure stable employment, and work toward achieving affordable, permanent housing. This model promotes accountability, financial literacy, and sustainable independence.
At JoCo IHN, we believe in helping homeless families help themselves—restoring dignity, building hope, and transforming lives through faith, community, and compassion.
