Neighborhood Life House

Neighborhood Life House is a community ministry at 516 N Wall Ave in Joplin’s northwest neighborhood. It works with neighbors through mentoring, education, and physical and spiritual partnership, helping people recognize who they can become with the help of God.

Youth programming includes after-school opportunities for middle and high school students through Upstream, with Bible study, identity-building, and service projects. Kids Club offers elementary students worship, Bible stories, and service projects. Other programs include music instruction and Daughters of the King, a ballet and jazz class for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. Special events such as block parties, prayer walks, family movie nights, and neighborhood gatherings provide opportunities for families and adults to connect.

Neighborhood Life House was incorporated as an independent 501(c)(3) in 2009. Visit the official programs page to confirm current details. For additional help, see NHREA’s Missouri homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.
