Description

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission in Omaha, founded in 1954 and focused on breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. It provides emergency support such as shelter, meals, clothing, and other basic needs, along with case management to help people move toward greater stability.

Services extend beyond immediate relief. Programs for men, women, and families include the New Life Recovery Program, a Bible-based 12-step residential program; Foundations; Veterans Housing First; supportive housing; education and employment preparation; and a free Health and Wellness Clinic. Outreach services also provide food, household goods, and other preventive resources for people experiencing poverty.
