At Shepherd’s Office Ministries in Georgetown, we provide loving support to those often forgotten by society—the Run-aways, Stow-aways, and Throw-aways. Each group faces unique challenges, but they share one common struggle: loneliness.
Run-aways are resilient and strong, often able to quickly find their footing. They represent hope and determination, needing temporary assistance before moving forward.
Stow-aways are hidden, vulnerable, and isolated, often unable to ask for help. Our mission includes seeking out these quiet sufferers, though we wish we could do more to support them.
Throw-aways are those society tends to ignore or reject. We are deeply grateful to serve these individuals by offering free food, clothing, and comprehensive support. More importantly, we stand alongside them, creating a caring team united in moving forward together.
Recognizing the epidemic of loneliness affecting many, Shepherd’s Office Ministries offers much more than material aid. Through our Free Everything Events, we provide meals, essentials, and, most importantly, human connection—helping to ease the pain of isolation for those who may go days or weeks without meaningful interaction.
Grounded in God’s forgiveness and love, our dedicated team is here daily to welcome and support anyone reaching out for help. While we acknowledge our own limitations, our commitment remains steadfast: to be a source of hope and a beacon of community for those in need.
