SLO Food Bank

SLO Food Bank works with community partners to help alleviate hunger and strengthen San Luis Obispo County. Its programs focus on access to nutritious food while supporting outreach and education that help people make healthy choices.

Through food rescue efforts, SLO Food Bank coordinates recovery of fresh produce from farms, orchards, backyards, and farmers’ markets, along with edible surplus from grocery stores and wholesalers. Rescued food is distributed through nonprofit agency partners across the county, helping reduce waste while expanding access to locally grown and other healthful foods.
