Founded in 1988 as Jerusalem House, Status: Home opened its first home in 1989 and has since grown to become Atlanta’s oldest and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for homeless or low-income individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS. Now delivering over 70% of such housing in the city, Status: Home has evolved to meet the complex needs of those it serves by combining stable housing with comprehensive supportive services. Their mission is to promote health, independence, and dignity by offering a secure foundation for vulnerable populations affected by HIV/AIDS to rebuild their lives.
