Description

WEAVE is a Sacramento nonprofit that promotes safe, healthy relationships and supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Its survivor-centered work includes crisis intervention, counseling, housing support, and resource referrals for individuals and families affected by violence.

WEAVE operates a confidential Emergency Safehouse Program for survivors and their children, with transitional housing available to some participants who need additional support while working toward permanent housing. The organization also provides individual and group counseling for people impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, including children’s counseling and culturally informed services.

WEAVE is Sacramento County’s Rape Crisis Center and provides support for survivors of sexual assault, as well as affected family members and friends. Visit the official WEAVE counseling information to confirm current program details. Additional housing resources are available through NHREA’s California assistance guide and federal assistance resources.
