Description

Wellspring Women’s Center is a Sacramento drop-in center in the Oak Park neighborhood that has served women and their children since 1987. Its mission centers on nurturing dignity, self-esteem, and connection while offering practical assistance and encouragement to people facing poverty and its effects.

Programs include nutritious breakfast and light lunch, a Children’s Corner with early learning and activities, safety-net assistance such as diapers, hygiene supplies, and bus passes, and a Women’s Wellness Program. Supportive services include counseling, case management, expressive art therapy, enrichment opportunities, referrals, help accessing community resources, and Spanish translation services.

Wellspring’s welcoming setting provides a stable place for women and children to find support and community. Visit the official Wellspring programs page for current program details. For broader resources, see NHREA’s California homelessness assistance guide and federal assistance guide.
