Description

The Youth Navigation Center (YNC) in Stanislaus County provides vital shelter, housing, and comprehensive drop-in services for youth and young adults aged 13 to 24 who are experiencing crisis, housing instability, or homelessness. YNC offers a safe and welcoming environment where young people can access essential resources including emergency shelter, case management, education support, and life skills development. With a trauma-informed and youth-centered approach, YNC helps young people navigate challenges and build pathways toward stability and self-sufficiency. By addressing the unique needs of youth experiencing homelessness, the center plays a critical role in reducing youth homelessness in the community. The program actively collaborates with local partners to provide wraparound support that empowers youth to regain control of their lives and envision a brighter future.
