Youth On Their Own

Located at 2525 N Country Club Rd in Tucson, Youth On Their Own (YOTO) is a nonprofit dropout-prevention program founded in 1986. The organization supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County, with education as a central focus.

YOTO combines financial assistance, basic-needs support, and guidance. Services include food, hygiene items, household goods, and school supplies through its Mini Mall; referrals to social-service and healthcare agencies; success coaching; and guidance for education, career planning, and employment. The program serves students in grades 6–12 enrolled in Pima County schools, as described on YOTO’s official services page.
