Hands of a Friend

Located at 231 W Duval Rd in Green Valley, Arizona, Hands of a Friend is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing a safe haven for women and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse.

Founded by Patti O’Berry in 2006, the organization opened its Genesis House in 2007. Its work includes safe housing, mentoring, advocacy, and referrals for people seeking support and a safer path forward.
