LINKS Mat-Su Parent Resource Center, located at 777 N Crusey St STE 101 in Wasilla, connects community members with resources, advocacy, and services that support independence, well-being, and access to needed assistance. Its programs include aging and disability services, parent resource support, veteran-directed care, and the High Utilizer Mat-Su program.
Through its Community Parent Resource Center, LINKS provides support and training, information and referral, and parent-to-parent connections for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. Advocates offer one-on-one assistance with problem-solving, preparation for IEP and other special education meetings, and support during those meetings. The Aging and Disability Resource Center provides free information and referral services for individuals with disabilities, seniors, vulnerable adults, and caregivers.
LINKS also supports self-directed in-home care through its Veteran Directed Care Program and helps reduce barriers to health, behavioral health, and other services through the High Utilizer Mat-Su program. Visit the official website for current program details. Additional resources are available through NHREA’s Alaska assistance guide and federal assistance resources.
