Bowery Mission – Food Distribution Center

At 227 Bowery, The Bowery Mission – Food Distribution Center is part of The Bowery Mission, a New York City organization that has served neighbors experiencing homelessness, hunger and other crises since the 1870s.

The Mission’s compassionate-care work includes meals, clothing, showers and safe overnight shelter. Its residential, transitional-housing and community programs provide individualized support related to wellness, recovery, employment, housing and independence, with an emphasis on dignity, respect and care for the whole person.
