ECHO

ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) is a nonprofit serving San Luis Obispo County since 2001. Its mission is to empower people to make positive change through food, shelter, and supportive services, helping individuals and families work toward stable housing.

The Atascadero location at 6370 Atascadero Avenue is part of ECHO’s shelter and outreach work. The organization also provides homeless prevention services. People facing homelessness, or seeking help for someone else, can use ECHO’s official help page to share confidential information with an ECHO case manager.
